Loading ...We finished up the team and individual portraits for the Patuxent Rhinos tonight. After we ran out of daylight a few weeks ago I decided that we definitely wanted to photograph the remaining athletes indoors as well. I loved the look and it was a nice departure from what we typically produce.
Again, I used the Nikon SB-900 speed light as the main light (camera left), and in the third image there’s an additional SB-800 just off the players right hip lighting up the lockers. I love using Nikons Creative Lighting System to produce creative portraits like these.
Honestly, we feel this is what separates us from the “competition”. At the end of the day, isn’t this supposed to be about great pictures and great memories?
